Simple Systems is a transcription of a video essay composed for an artist lecture series at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, originally presented on December 7, 2020. The constraints of the lecture were that it would take place over the video conferencing platform Zoom and would last twenty minutes. Words spoken in the video were not composed in writing, but instead were devised through a process of speaking aloud.
Specs: Laser printed on 20lb. economy paper. Spiral bound by Art Problems Studio in Detroit. 6.5 x 8.75”. Open edition.
